How You Remove Upper Housing Assembly From SM 3880
Tool You need : This screwdriver is to remove two of screws from rear end of scanner.
Step 1 : Remove Book Cover Assembly from SM 3880 at first, and then remove two of
screws from rear end of scanner by using one cross-head screwdriver.
Step 2 : Separate the upper housing assembly from rear end of scanner by both hands,
and show you as below illustration.
Step 3 : Separate the upper housing assembly from scanner as below illustration.
There are two of screws ( P/N :
142-33-504012 ) are to fix upper housing
assembly into scanner here.
