Issue Cause Solution
A Charger does not turn ON after
battery connection and LEDs
remain OFF
Battery not connected properly Check battery connectors/harness
Reversed output cables Check polarities of charger’s and battery’s connectors
Bad control board connection Check board connector (green)
Flawed control board Replace control board
B Output current is too hig
Wrong charging curve configuration Check charging curve configuration and contact customer service
One or more cells are shorted Check cells’ voltage and repair the battery
C Output current is too low
Wrong charging curve configuration Check charging curve configuration and contact customer service
One AC phase is absent Check AC input voltage on each phase
One or more diodes blown Replace the rectifier
AC contactor out-of-work Replace AC contactor
D Charger gets hot
Bad location Install the charger in a proper location
Obstructed air outlets Remove objects obstructing air outlets
AC input voltage out of range Check AC input voltage
Bad or loose power wirings Check and thighten all power wirings
Transformer burned Replace transformer
E Charger is too noisy
Contactor out-of-work Replace contactor and freewheeling diode
One or more diodes shorted Replace rectifier
For the battery charger to operate efficiently, the following items must be checked at least once a year:
external items: AC fuses, AC contactor
internal items: output fuse, auxiliary transformer fuses, fans (cleansing recommended)
NO DISPLAY PROGRAMMING
Activate the programming mode, by pressing the button for 3 seconds. Pressing it again it would be possible to select the correct setting, recognizable by LEDs
combination. For the codification, please refer to the table below:
