your area, c ontact yourlocal water utility or areawater softening company. The harder thewater, the more detergent
you may need . R eme mber, y ou s houl d adj ust t he a mo unt o f de tergent you use b y sm all amounts until you f ind the
correct a mo unt.
To remove hard water spots, try the following:
Ru n d ishes throug h a n orm al w ash pro gram .
Remove all metal dishware ,such ascutlery, pans, etc.,
fr o m th e dishwash e r.
Do not add detergent.
Po ur t wo c ups of v inegar in to a bowl and set the bow l face
up on the l ow er rac k of the dish was he r.
Run the dishesthrougha norm al w ash program.
If this doe sn't wor k, try the same p rocess with 1 / 4 cup of
c itric acid cry stals in st ead of v ineg ar.

Keep yourdetergent fresh and dry. Don't put powder detergent
into the dispenser untilYou're readyto wash dishes.

causeoversudsing.Wipeawayanyspillswithadampcloth.
Don ' t f or get t o r ep lace the cap b ef o re y ou c lose th e
dishwasher door.
If you havesoft water, you may not need rinseaid for it may
cause a white film to de velo pon your dis hes.

Ameasured amount of rinse aid isreleased during the finalrinse.Aswith detergent, th eamount
of rins e aid nee ded for your dish es d epends on the h ardn ess of th ewa ter in yo ur ar ea. Too much
rinseaid can result in lather of foaming andcause cloudiness or steaks on your dishes. Ifthe
waterinyourareaisverysoft,youmaynotneedrinseaid.Ifyoudo,youcandilutetherinseaid
withan equal amountof water.
