4.7 To replace the evaporator fan motor or
electric heater
To disassemble the air-out frame. Remove the
screws fixing the air-out frame. Lift the frame up
then pull the frame forward.
Remove the screws fixing the fan shell box.
Remove the fan motor, fan scroll and blower
wheel from the unit.
Take care to the wires for electric heater.
Slide the electric heater bracket up and remove
the parts from the unit.
Now, it is easy to replace the electric heater
and/or heat protector attached with the heater.
