What to do if Midland Transmitter range is short?
    • R
      Randy RossAug 15, 2025
The Midland Transmitter range could be short for several reasons. Operating the radio in a vehicle or metal building will decrease the range, so operate outside if possible. Also, carrying the radio so that the antenna is very near the body will decrease the range, so hold the radio in the open for the best range. Battery condition can also affect range, so replace alkaline batteries or recharge rechargeable batteries. Do not attempt to charge any type of Alkaline battery in this radio!
