B2. BLADE ROTOR CONTROL CABLE
BLADE ROTOR BRAKE CONTROL CABLE
The two cables are controlled at the same time by the lever located on the handlebar in
fig. 5 Rif. B. When the lever is operated the two cables engage simultaneously: the blade
rotor moves, its brake becoming disengaged.
For optimum regulation adjust the cable set screws located near the engagement lever, fig
5 Rif D, on the belt tightener, fig 12 Rif D, and on the brake control, fig 12 Rif E.
B3. FORWARD CONTROL CABLE
PARKING BRAKE CONTROL CABLE
The two cables are controlled at the same time by the lever located on the handlebar in
fig. 5 Rif. C. When the lever is operated the two cables engage simultaneously: the
machine moves forward, the parking brake becoming disengaged.
For optimum regulation adjust the cable set screws located near the engagement lever,
Fig 5 Rif E, on the parking brake control lever, Fig 5 Rif F and on the belt tightener, Fig 11
Rif D.
After having made the adjustments as described above, check that the service-brake control
wire still has a play of approximately 1-2 mm between the end of the wire and its adjustment
screw ( Fig. 5 Ref. D, point c). If not, restore this play, oth-rwise the brake will not perform
correctly.
