What to do if MidNite Solar Battery Charger display shows 0 volts in?
    • W
      Wendy HernandezJul 27, 2025
If the MidNite Solar Battery Charger Classic displays a reading of 0 volts (or close to it) while the battery voltage appears correct, and if this is a new installation or has been recently altered, check for reverse polarity on the DC input. If this issue arises unexpectedly or after confirming the absence of reverse polarity, contact customer service.

How to fix MidNite Solar Battery Charger that will not power on?
    • B
      Brett MorrisJul 31, 2025
Check for voltage between the Battery + and the common – on the blue terminal block inside the MidNite Solar Battery Charger Classic. If voltage is present and above 10vdc, contact customer service. If no voltage is present, trace back through the + and – to identify the fault.

Why MidNite Solar Battery Charger switches between Resting and Bulk MPPT?
    • S
      Scott LongAug 10, 2025
If the MidNite Solar Battery Charger Classic switches between Resting and Bulk MPPT repeatedly but produces 0 watts, monitor the IN voltage. If the IN voltage remains stable when the Classic transitions from Resting to Bulk MPPT, contact customer service. However, if the IN voltage gradually drops to battery voltage (or close to it) during the switch to Bulk MPPT, it typically indicates a high resistance connection, such as a loose connection between the Classic and the DC source.

What to do if MidNite Solar Battery Charger Classic says “Resting”?
    • J
      Jill RodriguezAug 15, 2025
If the MidNite Solar Battery Charger Classic says “Resting” when the sun is out, verify that the voltage on the display under “IN” is greater than the battery voltage. Also, confirm that the charging mode is correct for the source and the mode is set to “ON.”
