Step 1.
Rivet the dinrail #3-043-1 to
the chassis #3-040-3.
Step 2.
Lay the black paper insulator
#5-022-1 down with the diago-
nal corner to the upper center.
Step 3.
Screw down the negative
busbar insulators #5-015-2
using #6-007-1 screws.
Alumi-
num chassis strips easily.
Don’t over tighten.
Step 4.
Snap on the left busbar on to
the negative insulators.
Step 5.
Screw down the right side
busbar using #6-037-1 screws
and #6-017-1 lock washers.
Step 6.
Loosen up the second large
inset screw from the top of the
right side busbar.
Step 7.
Place large black paper insula-
tor #5-021-1 in the top portion
of box around the dinrail.
Step 8.
Place inside labels #10-008-1

Summary

MNPV6 Procedure Steps

Install Dinrail and Insulators

Rivet the dinrail to the chassis and lay the black paper insulator in the upper center.

Mount and Secure Busbars

Screw down busbar insulators, snap on busbars, and secure with screws and lock washers.

Place Internal Labels and Insulators

Place large black paper insulator and inside labels within the enclosure.

External Labeling and Component Securing

Apply Exterior Side Label

Attach the side label #10-008-1, specifying model, quarter, and year of assembly.

Secure Hardware Bag

Use a wire tie to secure the plastic hardware bag and busbars under the dinrail.

Attach Label to Inside of Cover

Affix label #10-008-1 to the inside of the cover, ensuring it is right side up.

Secure Deadfront and Note

Attach the deadfront, securing the bottom first, then the top, ensuring the note is in place.

Attach Cover, Badge, and Remaining Labels

Snap on the main cover, attach the MidNite badge, and slide in remaining labels before securing.

Packaging and Final Preparation

Package Unit in Plastic Bag

Place the completed unit into the original shipping plastic bag.

Prepare Shipping Box

Fold and glue the end flaps and one side flap of box #9-078-1.

Add Padding Corners

Insert padding corners into the bottom of the shipping box around the unit.

Insert Manual into Box

Place the MNPV Installation Instructions manual (#10-010-1) into the box.

Seal Shipping Box

Fold the remaining flap of the shipping box down and press to allow the glue to harden.
