General problems with the tumble dryer
Problem Cause and remedy
Condensation is form-
ing in the drum.
The tumble dryer is installed on a shared exhaust air
duct.
The tumble dryer must always be installed with a
non-return flap when using a shared exhaust air
duct.
Check the non-return flap for possible defects on
a regular basis and replace the flap if necessary.
The drum lighting does
not come on.
The drum lighting switches off automatically when
the door is closed.
To save energy, the drum lighting will switch off
after a few minutes if the door is left open for an ex-
tended period.
The drum lighting will come on when the door is
opened if the tumble dryer is switched on.
The display is in a dif-
ferent language.
A different language has been selected.
Set the language you want. The flag symbol will
guide you.
