Problem Possible cause Remedy
The following
message appears
after the
programme has
finished:
Clean out airways
The dryer is not working
efficiently or
economically.
Possible cause: The fluff
filters are clogged with
fluff or with detergent
residues.

Cleaning the filters is usually
all that is required.
However, if the message
does not go out after you
have cleaned the filters, then
also check all the possible
causes described under "The
drying process goes on too
long or even switches off".
To delete the fault message:
–
Switch the dryer off and then
back on again.
You can adjust the setting which
controls when or if the message
Clean out airways
appears.
See "Settings menu J, Airways
indicator".

Technical fault
– the programme
is cancelled
– the buzzer
sounds
No obvious cause.
In some circumstances,
Clean out airways
has
already been displayed.
– Clean the filters and the
condenser unit.
To delete the fault message:
– Switch the dryer off and then
back on again.
There is a fault if, despite
doing this, the
programme is cancelled
and the fault message
appears again.

Department.

Programme finish
time changed
This is not a fault. Settings were changed while the
timer was counting down to the
start of a programme, or there
was a power cut.
