When not in use, your leaf shredder-chipper should be stored out of reach of children with the spark plug
wire removed. For long periods of storage (over winter), gasoline stabilizer (Le. STABIL) should be
added to fuel tank and engine should be run for a short time to circulate additive through carburetor.
Fuel should then be drained from the fuel tank. Always allow the engine to cool before storing or
covering.
TROUBLE SHOOTING

Engine fails to start

Fuel tank empty, or stale fuel.

Engine overheats

Stop engine immediately and disconnect spark plug wire.

Remove lodged object.
