Condition

Perform all calibration at an ambient temperature of 23°C ± 2°C / 73.4°F ± 3.6°F and relative

humidity of 80% - allow the fork meter to sit at this temperature for a minimum of 30

minutes before proceeding.

  If the LED for NCVD (Non-Contact Voltage Detection) on your Milwaukee Multimeter doesn't light up, there are a few potential causes. First, check for breaks in the Flex PCB for Jaws; if there are any, replace the Jaws. Second, the NCVD LED orientation might be off; try adjusting the NCVD LED upward. Finally, a defect of circuit component might be the problem, in this case replace the PCB.

Why is the temperature measurement inaccurate on my Milwaukee Multimeter?

  If you are experiencing inaccurate temperature measurements with your Milwaukee Multimeter, it could be due to a couple of reasons. One possible cause is insufficient battery capacity. When the “BATT” mark is displayed on the LCD, replace the batteries. If the batteries aren't the issue, the PCB may need re-adjustment. If so, check the components and follow the adjustment procedure to re-adjust the PCB.
