Useful Function
HOLD
If a sheet goes out of alignment while long data is being cut
(picture-drawn), you can temporarily hold the cut for fixing the
misalignment of the sheet.

Press the key during the sheet
cutting.
• Be sure to execute the hold function at a break in characters.
If you execute the hold function while the plotter is cutting (plotting) a line segment of a
character, the starting point and end point of cutting (plotting) will not meet.

Fix the sheet misalignment.
(1) Move down the clamp lever to the rear.
(2) Fix the sheet misalignment.
(3) Move down the clamp lever to the front.
(4) Press the key.

Press the key to restart cutting.
• When correcting the displacement of the sheet,
move neither the carriagenor the pinch rollers. If
they are moved out of position, a damage to
thedevice or an error will arise.
• The key does not work until the sheet is detected.
• In the local mode, hold down the key for approximately 1.5 seconds.
