4.1 Checking the Patient Contact Indicator

NOTE

• It is recommended to perform the defibrillation on a patient when the patient contact indicator

illuminates in green. If the patient contact indicator illuminates in orange, it also can be used for the

defibrillation. However, the expected effects may not be achieved in this condition.
