FOCUS LOCK IN REMOTE CONTROL MODE

1. Select remote-control mode using the
drive-mode button.
2.Place the subject in the focus frames and press the shutter-
release button partway down to confirm the focus; the green
focus lamp will glow and remain lit.
• It the focus lamp does not remain lit after pressing the shutter-release button
partway down, the focus was not locked. Repeat the procedure.
•To cancel the focus lock, press the shutter-release button partway down again
or press the zoom lever.
Focus lock can be used in Area AF or spot AF.
