This section provides the information necessary to
prepare the camera for use.

Attaching the Strap
Pass the tip of the strap
through the holder ring.
• Use the following method if the ring is
tight for the tip.
1) Fold the strap, and slide the holder
ring over the tip.
2) Hold the strap, and slide the holder
ring in the direction shown.

With the visible protrusions
on the inside of the holder
ring oriented as shown, pass
the tip of the strap through
the ring.

Pass the tip of the strap
through the camera’s strap
eyelet from below.
• Attach the strap so the tip comes
between the strap and the camera.
