INFRARED FOCUSING
For proper focus when making pi c-
tures w ith infr ar ed radiation, proceed as
follows:
With th e normal /c l ose changeover but -
ton at its outer "N" position, first
focus yo ur subject w ith visible I ight as
described on page 6. Then turn the dial
to the left unti l the point on the infrared-
correction
sca le that was opposite the
ma in index li ne is opposite the infr ar ed-
index val ue cor responding to the focal
length
at which the zooming l eve r is set.
With the norma I /c l ose changeover but-
ton at its inner 'M" position, infr ar ed
adjustment is made as above though focus-
ing
is done by moving the zooming lever
as described on page 7
NOTE
I nfrared fo cusing adjustme nt cannot
be made w
ith th e focusing dial se t near to
1 m, as th is limits th e movement of the
focusing
dial.
