Shift camera so autofocus zone is on subject
and press shutter-release button partway down.
Using focus hold (Subject not in the center)
If you want to compose the picture with
the subject not in the center of the frame,
use focus hold. (In low light, first check that
the flash is charged.)
While keeping button slightly pressed, recom-
pose as desired
and press the button all the way
down to take the picture.
• Focus hold can be cancelled by lifting
your finger from the shutter-release button.
