Inside the camera the re is a Minolta "8" spool
with
number (1 ) on one side and number (2) on
the other side. The side bearing number (1) has
three teeth in the center hole and the other side (2)
has four teeth. This prevents you from lo ad ing the
Film feeds onto the Minolta "8" spool with
side (1) facing up on the winding spool. Wh en
the first half of the film is completely exposed,
reverse the spools re me mbering to flip over the
Minolta "8" spool to avoid double expos ure.
Th e second half of the film th en winds back
onto the original film spool. In the end Ih ~
Minolta "8" spool is empty, ready for the next
film .
1 Hold your came ra so Ihat the c hamb er door faces
toward you. Open it, by turning the cover lock
counter-clockwise.
