Problem Possible Cause Solution
The food is slightly
burnt.
The selected temperature is
too high or the cooking time
too long.
Reduce the temperature or

Chips made from
fresh potatoes are not

The potatoes contain too
much water.
Cut the potatoes into narrower pieces. Dab
the potato pieces dry with some kitchen
towel and then trickle a lile cooking oil
over them.
During use, an
unpleasant smell is
detected.
The Air Fryer is dirty. Follow the instructions in the “Care and
Cleaning” chapter.
The Air Fryer is being used
for the rst time.
A smell often develops when new
appliances are rst used. The smell should
disappear once the appliance has been
used several times.
