published by the Canadian Fire Safety Association (CFSA), the American Society for Heating,
RefrigerationandAirConditioningEngineers(ASHRAE)andthe
localcodeauthorities.
 When cutting or drilling into wall or ceiling, do not damage electrical wiring and other hidden
utilities.
 Ductedfansmustalwaysbeventedtotheoutdoors.
 Donotmakealterationstotheoriginalwiring.
 Donotattempttorepairorreplaceanypartofyourhoodunlessitisspecificallyrecommendedin
thismanual.
