Care and Maintenance
Cleaning Your Freezer
Before cleaning, turn the temperature control
to “O”, unplug the freezer, and remove any food
items. Place food stuffs in a fridge or cooler to
protect them.
Clean your freezer once every two months.
Wash the inner and outer surface with a wet
cloth. Then dry with a cloth.
If the freezer is very dirty, wash it with a neutral
detergent fi rst, then use a clean cloth to wipe it.
Care of Plastic and Rubber Parts
If the plastic parts or rubber seals in the
freezer remain contaminated by oil (animal or
vegetable) for a long time, they will easily age,
crack and start to have an unpleasant odour.
Be careful to protect the rubber seals of the
door. They should be kept clean at all times.
Special Notes
Be sure to unplug the freezer before cleaning or
defrosting.
Do not spray water on the freezer as this may
cause a short circuit, rust metal parts or weaken
the insulation.
The following things will damage the lacquer
coat and plastics, so do not use these items to
clean the freezer: hot water, dilutent, petrol,
alcohol, kerosene, washing powder, cleanser,
alkaline detergent, acid, chemical cloth, etc.
