CLEANINGThoroughlycleanthemachineexterior.
INSPECTIONInspecttheentiremachineandtubes
for damage, including loose or missing components,
and repair as necessary.
FUELDrainthefueltank,andthenclearthecarburetorandlinesbyrunningthe
machine until it stops from lack of fuel.
LUBRICATIONRemovethesparkplug,andthenpourapproximately1/4-ozofoilintothecylinderthrough
thesparkplughole.Beforereinstallingthesparkplug,pulltherecoilstarter2or3timestodistributetheoil
over the cylinder walls.
AIRCLEANERRemove,clean,andreinstallthelterelementasdescribedunder“dailymaintenance.”
STORAGEStorethemachineinaclean,dry,dust-freeenvironment.
IMPORTANT!
• Aftereveryuse,checkthatallnuts,boltsandscrewsaresecurelyfastenedandtightenif
necessary.
• Intheeventofanaccident,breakdownorblockage,ensuretheengineisturnedo
before any work is carried out to rectify this.
• Makesuretheenginehasstoppedandiscoolbeforeperforminganyservicetothe
machine. Contact with moving parts or hot muer may result in a personal injury.
Always wear heavy-duty gloves when handling the blades.
Transportation
• NevertransporttheBlow/Vacwiththeenginerunning.Anenginethatisrunningcouldbe
accidently accelerated causing the implleor to engage.
• MakesurethebladesafetyguardsareinplacewhentransportingtheBlow/Vac.
• EnsuretheBlow/Vacissecurewhentransportinginavehicleandthetankisdrainedoffuel.
