APPENDIX 3. Precautions Concerning Com atibil and the Uao of ExWng
Programs Prepared
for the At2 71C2 6 Computer Link Module
The following sections describe precautions which should be taken when
using the AJ71C2448 computer link module.
These precautions cover compatibility
with the AJ71C2446 computer link
module (hereafter called the AJ71C24-S6), the use
of existing programs
prepared for the AJ71C2446, and procedure for changing or adding
modules in the existing network.
3.1 Compatibility
The AJ71 C24S8 and the AJ71 C24S6 have the same dimensions and can
be installed in the same way. They also use the same basic programs (on
a PC CPU and a computer).
Compatibility is maintained within the functions supported by the AJ71C24S6.
3.2 Precautions When Using Existing Program8
None when the AJ71 C24-S6 is replaced by an AJ71 C24-S8.
