MECHANICAL STRUCTURE
1. Steering wheel is turned to the limit and rod length (A) is set to 198mm {7.8in}. At this time, a steering angle on
both sides is adjusted to the interior angle (50 ) and the external angle (43 ) by the rod end ( B ).
2. Length ( D ) is adjusted by the rod end ( B ) to 43.5mm {1.7in} . At this time, the nipple is turned to turn to
forward of the body. The nipple on both sides is adjusted so that the difference of an angle may turn to less than 10.
3. Adjust the length ( E ) of tie rod end to 132mm {5.2in} as shown in the figure and adjust the toe in by turning only
the tie rod ( F ).
4. Adjust the upper surface of rod end (B) and tie rod (F) and tie rod end (C) doesn't incline back and forth, and fixes
with the nut (G).
5. Execute the tightening torque instruction in figure. In addition, (Y) and (Z) nuts tightens by the torque of 9.8Nm,
(100kgf

6. The split pin which is fixing the (Y) and (Z) nuts should bend a tip on both sides.
3.4 Bleeding Procedure for Power Steering
After inspecting and adjusting the assembly of each part, Take the following procedure for air bleeding.
