A larger resistance may be felt when pulling the recoil starter grip under low temperature
condition or at the initial operation at the next season. This is related to the characteristic of
the oil and engine has no problems. Once it started, it will return to the normal condition.
Warm-up operation
CAUTION
Do not increase the engine speed abruptly immediately after starting
it because lubrication oil is not yet circulated sufciently to respective
sections.
Do not operate the engine at high speeds under no load (racing) or use it
at unnecessarily high speeds because, if the throttle lever is opened fully,
not only the engine life is reduced but also it could cause trouble.
7. Turn the throttle lever to the low-speed position after starting the engine, and race it for
approximately. 2 to 3 minutes.
(The engine may run at a high speed immediately after the start.)
