Stopping the engine
DANGER
Place the engine at a horizontal
position when the driven equipment
is not used at the rest time, or others,
in summer season.
(If the tank cap is immersed in the
fuel, the fuel may leak from the cap.)
1. Turn the throttle lever to the low-speed position.
2. Turn the engine switch to the “OFF” position.
In chase of a push button type switch, keep pressing
the push button till the engine stops completely.
(Switch position may vary depending on the
specifications. Refer to the instruction manual of
driven equipment.)
Rell the fuel before it is completely used up. This will
ease next start.
If no continuous work is present, drain the fuel from the
fuel tank, and restart the engine to use up the fuel which
remains in the carburetor.
CAUTION
Do not touch the engine body, muffler, or other, immediately after
stopping the operation. These are so hot that could cause burn.
