Step 2
Remove the existing switch.
Step 3
Remove the switch and pull it away from the wall. Identify the Line/Load Wire (Note: The
wire color may differ from the manual's illustration.)
Verify that the power is off. We recommend removing the faceplate from the old switch
and using an electrical tester to check all wires connected to the switch, ensuring no
voltage in the circuit. It may be necessary to turn off multiple circuit breakers.
