  If your Molecular Devices Measuring Instruments isn't getting power (the LCD shows no display), ensure the power cord is securely plugged into both a functioning power outlet and the receptacle at the rear of the SPECTRAmax PLUS[384]. Also, verify that the power cord isn't loose or disconnected and that the power outlet is working correctly. If the issue persists, try replacing the fuses.

  If the drawer on your Molecular Devices Measuring Instruments doesn't open, first, turn the instrument off and then on again. If the drawer remains closed, locate the groove in the upper left side wall of the door using your thumbnail, open the door, and pull the microplate drawer out of the instrument.

  If the drawer of your Molecular Devices Measuring Instruments does not open, try the following: * Turn the power to the instrument off and then on again. * Turn the incubator off (if it was on). * Power off the instrument, unplug the power cord, and use a blunt, flat object (like a spatula) to gently open the door. * Pull the plate drawer out of the instrument gently and remove the plate.
