4 Operation
1) Prior to switching on set the controls MIC-1 (1),
MIC-2 (2), and AUX (3) to zero. Only then switch on
the amplifier with the button POWER (12). As an
operating control the red LED POWER (6) is
lighting.
2) The MIC-1 (8) and MIC-2 (9) jacks are intended for
the connection of low impedance microphones.
They are individually adjusted with the above con-
trols (1+ 2).
3) By the AUX control (3) the gain of the audio unit
connected to the AUX jack (10) is adjusted. Here
any kind of playing units like CD, cassette or record
players as well as tuners or other units may be
connected.
4) The TONE control (4) attenuates high frequencies
for all sources in common.
5) The HORN control (5) adjusts the volume of the
built-in alarm signal circuit switchable to CHIME,
FOG, or SIREN as requested. The signal may also
be mixed with the other sources in any combination.
6) The 7-way LED row (6) indicates the output power.
The LED PROTECTION (7) lights up if the protec-
tion circuit has responded.
