-NOTE-
When handling the optional xenon bulbs (Ref.
Fig. 33- 7), wear clean cotton or latex gloves. Af-
ter installation of the bulb(s), gently wipe bulb
with a small amount of isopropyl alcohol to re-
move any residual oil from your hands or other
maintenance processes. Failure to wear clean
gloves, or wiping the bulb off, may result in pre-
mature bulb failure due to hot spots that will
build- up from any grease residue on the bulb.
-WARNING-
When using isopropyl alcohol, follow direc-
tions and warnings given by t he
manufacturer.
7. Replace new bulb in reverse order of removal.
8. Verify beam adjustment has not changed (see
SECTION 33-43-01).
9. Replace access cover and recheck landing/taxi
light operation and focus adjustment.
