Ensure the person performing the install is grounded to prevent ESD damage to the SIGMA terminal.
Do NOT proceed with installation until electrical power has been switched-off.
Identify the +12V and GND wires from the power source and SIGMA terminal. Inversion will damage the product.
Slide the CR1225 V3 Li-lon coin battery, positive side up, into the slot above the micro USB port.
Select either External 12V or Power-over-Ethernet (PoE), but not both simultaneously.
Use 12-24 Volts (regulated) 1 Amp supply compliant with CEE/EEC EN60950.
Install the PoE Board and connect the PoE cable to the RJ45 jack.
Position the PoE Board with pins pointing down, facing the µSD slot and RJ45 port.
Insert the PoE pins on the board into the SIGMA terminal's PoE connectors.
Gently push the PoE board down to secure the connections between the PoE Pins and PoE connectors.
Change the First Boot Configuration Storage Type to Permanent and prepare for reboot.
Access the 'First Boot Configuration Storage Type' setting within the First Boot Assistant.
Choose 'Permanent' and press the check mark to confirm changes.
Press the check mark to reboot the terminal, finalizing the permanent storage configuration.
