2 TRANSMISSION SHAFT
Replace the shaft with transmission joints every 20000
Km; If the motorbike is mainly used for racing-type driving,
or usually high speed driving, replace every 15000 Km.
Disassembly:
Remove the rear transmission housing from the
motorbike and disassemble the transmission joint, as
described in chapter 1 in this section;
Remove the transmission shaft from the gearbox by
unscrewing the high resistance screws.
Maintenance:
See chapter 2, section D.
Reassembly:
Carry out the disassembly procedures in reverse order
IMPORTANT
In order not to damage the transmission joints,
refit the shaft A” and the joint B”, aligning the
reference marks as illustrated in the figure.
