DISASSEMBLING
THE CARBURETOR:
Remove the
float bowl cover
using
a 10mm
wrench.
Check
the
paper gasket
and
the
r'0'|r
ring.
Loosen
the
screw
(using
a
small
Philips
head
screwdriver)
or the
plastic
cap
(fig.
1
and
2).

Clear
this
pjpe
if necessary
with an
air
stream.
Fit
the
screw or
plastic
cap.
Check
the
float for
good
condition.
Remove the
fuel
jet
(Bmm
wrench
or screwdriver)
and
clear
it
jf
necessary
with an
ajr
stream
(fig.
3).

Unscrew
(screwdriver)
tfre
diffuser
holder.
If
the
diffuser
cannot
be
easily
removed,
slightly
push
on
the
diffuser
end
in the
mixinq
chamber.
Clear
the
diffuser
with a
high
pressure
air
line.
NQTE:
Some carburetors
are
not equipped
with
a
diffuser
holder.
These
carburetors
do
not
have a removeable
diffuser.
Do
not
try
to
remove
the
diffuser
from thjs
type
of
carburetor.
