When a Private Call is received, you hear two alert
tones, the LED flashes green, the call received
symbol ( ) flashes and CALL RECEIVD is displayed,
followed by the calling name or ID, followed by your
home talkgroup each for about 2 seconds. This
repeats until the call is answered.
To respond to a Private Conversation call:
1. Press the Private Call Button .
2. Press and hold the PTT button to talk; release it to
listen.
3. Press the Home button or the Private Call Button to
hang up and return to the home display.
