Accessory Connector Pin Functions
Radio Installation 1-15
If the accessory connector IGNITION SENSE line (pin 10) is activated when power is applied to
the supply line, or after power is applied to the supply line, then the radio will power up and remain
powered up until either the supply is removed or the IGNITION SENSE line is de-activated.
It is recommended that during installation of the Databox radio, the SUPPLY and IGNITION
SENSE lines are linked together and connected to the switchable power supply. This will allow the
radio ON/OFF to be controlled by activating and de-activating the the switchable power supply.
Note: The radio must be powered up using one of the above methods when making NPD calls via
the option board.
