Monitor Feature
The feature allows you to ensure that a channel is free before transmitting.
9.1
Monitoring Channels
Procedure:
Press the programmed Monitor
button and hold the button to continue monitoring the channel.
If the channel is in use, your radio shows the following indications:
• You hear radio activity.
• The yellow LED illuminates.
If the monitored channel is free, your radio shows the following indications:
• You hear “white noise".
• The yellow LED illuminates.
Postrequisites:To stop monitoring the channel, release the programmed Monitor button.
