Getting Started
Charging the Battery
Motorola approved chargers provide optimum performance. Other
chargers may not fully charge your Motorola battery or may reduce
the life of the battery.
Prior to charging a terminal with a battery, turn the MTP700 Off.
1. Plug the charger end of the power cord into the AC receptacle
located at the back of the charger. Plug the wall receptacle end
of the power cord into the appropriate mains socket.
2. Insert a battery, or a MTP700 with a battery (terminal turned
off), into the charger’s pocket. The Battery icon shows the
charging status (see below).
Installing the Battery
1. Turn off the terminal (if it is turned on).
2. Slide the bottom of battery into the
appropriate grooves under the terminal
front cover.
3. Press the top of battery against the
terminal until you hear an audible click.
