7 Push-to-Talk (PTT) button Allows you to press and hold down this
button to talk, and release it to listen.
8 Side button 1 (SB1) A general button that is configurable
using the Customer Programming Soft-
ware (CPS).
NOTE: The default setting of
SB1 is Monitor.
9 Side button 2 (SB2) A general button that is configurable
using the CPS.
NOTE: The default setting of
SB2 is Scroll Down to the
desired channel.
10 Battery All RM Series radios come with a Lithi-
um-Ion (Li-Ion) battery.
