Status Light
The status light tells you when
you have an incoming call or
message, or when your phone is
roaming (using a non-home
system). The light changes
colour to indicate different
states:
By default, the status light indicator is turned off to extend
battery life. See the “Status Light” item on page 75 to turn on
the status light.
Note: Turning on the status light will substantially reduce your
phone’s
standby time
(the length of time that your phone’s
battery retains power when the phone is turned on but is not in
use).
alternating red/green incoming call
flashing green in service, home system
flashing yellow roaming, non-home system
flashing red no service
alternating yellow/green text or voicemail message received
