3. SETTING THE COOKING TIME
Table 1 indicates the default time. It can be changed if desired. After selecting the cooking
mode and before starting the mode, you can change the programme’s operating time in the
interval shown in Table 1. To change the time, you can use the and buttons or press the
“Delayed start / Timer” button and reduce/increase the time using the and buttons with
respect to the default setting.
In the browning mode, the time can be changed directly during the cooking process using the
and buttons.
4. SETTING A DELAYED START TIME
Except for Yogurt, Multichef and Browning, all programs provide the option of a delayed start.
To set a delayed start after selecting the cooking mode and before starting the programme,
press the “Delayed start / Timer” button twice - the minimum delay time on the display is
indicated - 2 hours - g.16, you can then decrease or increase the start time for cooking a dish
using the and buttons.
5. CANCEL FUNCTION
During operation of all functions, except for the Browning function, no changes can be
made to the program. To make changes to the program, use the Keep warm / Cancel button.
Press and hold the button
Keep warm / Cancel for one second to cancel the selected function and return to standby
mode.
6. STEAM RELEASE AND LID OPENING
When the pressure time has elapsed, the display shows ‘00:00”. The pressure release needs to
be done manually :
1. Push the pressure release button to release the pressure. g. 25
2. Keep your hands away from the pressure limit valve when releasing steam (we
suggest to wear gloves when pressing the release pressure button to avoid any risk
of injury).

PRESSURE COOKING
Pressure state
• An EPC (electrical pressure Cooker) is an electric pan with an hermetic lid and a special valve,
that allows to cook the food under pressure, which saves cooking time and makes the tough
foods soft.
• The following programs cook automatically under pressure: “Rice/Cereals”, “Milk Porridge”,
“Pilaf”,
• “Steamer”, “Stewing”, “Soup”,” Warm Up”. For « Multichef » function you will enter a cooking
pressure state if you select at least 100°C, with the lid closed and locked.
• Once you have selected your program, the time to reach the pressure will depend on the
amount of food and liquids in the cooking pot. The lid must be closed and locked to reach a
pressure state: as the appliance is hermetically closed, when the temperature increases, the
liquid inside forms steam which raises the pressure in the pot (thus when preparing with
