USE OF THE STEAM BASKET
The cooking times are given for information only. In the
majority of cases they enable satisfactory cooking.
Nevertheless, certain conditions will aect the cooking
time:
the size of the vegetables (cut or uncut)
the quantity of ingredients in the basket
the variety of vegetables, their ripeness
the amount of water in the bowl, which must
correspond to the steam graduation.
If not cooked enough, you can add additional cooking
time.
Max quantities for the steamer programme

Red or green peppers in strips 400g 20 minutes 600g 30 minutes
Cubed potatoes 800g 30 minutes 1.2kg; 40 minutes
Fish fillets, fresh or defrosted 500g 15 minutes 1kg 25 minutes
Whole fish, fresh or frozen 800g 30 minutes
Mussels 1.5kg 30 minutes
Prawns, whole or defrosted 500g 15 minutes 800g 25 minutes
Chicken breast 500g 25 minutes 1kg 35 minutes
Pork fillets 500g 30 minutes 1kg 45 minutes
Some recipes may cause overowing, due to the appearance of bubbles, in particular when using frozen
vegetables. In this case, it is up to you to reduce the volumes accordingly.
