OIL RETURN BENDS
Add an oil return bend as described below:
If outdoor unit is beneath the indoor unit, there is no need to add a non-return bend at the
lowest or highest position of the vertical pipe, as shown below in Fig. 2.6:
If outdoor unit is above the indoor unit, it is necessary to add an oil return bend and a
non-return bend at the lowest and highest position of the vertical pipe, as shown below in Fig. 2.7:
Use the following dimensions in Fig. 2.8 to form the oil return bend(s):
