8 MSA FSR
Explanation:
a) According to the Australian standard AS/NZS 1716:2003, FSR-W65 is approved as follows:
Service time 60 min
Performance test at 35 l/min
E4 procedure (b)
b) According to European standard EN 404:2005, class FSR-4 AR has the following meaning:
Digit ”4”:
Service time longer than 120 min
Letter “A”:
Performance test at 30 l/min
Letter “R”:
Suitable for rough conditions (assured by “concrete mixer test”)
c) According to European standard EN 404, 2005, class FSR-4 BR has the following meaning:
Digit ”4”:
Service time longer than 120 min
Letter “B”:
Performance test at 40 l/min
Letter “R”:
Suitable for rough conditions (assured by “concrete mixer test”)
The Filter Self Rescuers FSR W65-2, FSR W65-2 BL, FSR W95 and FSR W95 BL described in this
operating manual comply with Directive 89/686 EEC or Regulation (EU) 2016/425, respectively.
The EC Type Examination was carried out by DEKRA EXAM (Dinnendahlstr. 9, D-44809 Bochum).
