Note: If a problem is identied, the Latchways SRL shall be immediately withdrawn from use
and cannot be returned to use until examined and recertied by a Technician. Examination,
repair and recertication instructions are detailed in a separate document.
Latchways SRL Pre-use checks
Latchways SRLs are designed to be easy to operate and maintain, requiring
minimal maintenance and simple pre-use checks. For further information contact
customerservices@latchways.com.
Operation and use: Attach the Latchways SRL overhead to an anchor point* then complete the
Pre-use checks.
Pre-use check by the User:

Pull gently on lifeline - listen for audible
clicking.

Pull sharply on lifeline - check device
locks.

Operate connector:
Check correct operation.
Check for signs of damage/deterioration.
4 Check load indicator is not deployed.
