Enter “Overclockng” and set “Unlock CPU Core” to [Enabled].
Save changes and ext the BIOS setup.
System restart.
You wll see the “X4” (quad core) or “X2” (dual core for
Sempron seres only) durng POST.

Set “Adjust CPU-NB Rato” and
“HT Lnk Speed” to [x8].

Clear CMOS data.
The CPU does not support CPU core
unlock, please leave the default settngs
for system.

Important
Ths CPU core unlocked behavor depends on the CPU ablty/ characterstc, and t
s not guaranteed.
Depend on CPU’s characterstc, once you get nstable scenaro, please restore the
default settngs for system.
You can also check the core numbers n performance tab of Wndows task
manager.
OC Gene Lte
Settng ths tem to [Enabled] allows the system to detect the maxmum FSB clock and
to overclock automatcally. If overclockng fals to run, you can try the lower FSB clock
for overclockng successfully.
Spread Spectrum
When the manboard’s clock generator pulses, the extreme values (spkes) of the pulses
create EMI (Electromagnetc Interference). The Spread Spectrum functon reduces the
EMI generated by modulatng the pulses so that the spkes of the pulses are reduced
to atter curves.
Important
If you do not have any EMI problem, leave the settng at [Dsabled] for optmal system
stablty and performance. But f you are plagued by EMI, select the value of Spread
Spectrum for EMI reducton.
The greater the Spread Spectrum value s, the greater the EMI s reduced, and the
system wll become less stable. For the most sutable Spread Spectrum value, please
consult your local EMI regulaton.
Remember to dsable Spread Spectrum f you are overclockng because even a slght
jtter can ntroduce a temporary boost n clock speed whch may just cause your
overclocked processor to lock up.
