Power Management
This item is used to select the degree (or type) of power saving and is related
to these modes: Suspend Mode and HDD Power Down. There are three options
for power management:
User Define Allows end users to configure each mode separately.
Min Saving Minimum Power Management. Suspend Mode = 1 Hour,
and HDD Power Down = 15 Min.
Max Saving Maximum Power Management. Suspend Mode = 1 Min,
and HDD Power Down = 1 Min.
HDD Power Down
When enabled and after the set time of system inactivity, the hard disk drive
will be powered down while all other devices remain active. The settings are:
Disable, 1~15 Min.
Suspend Mode
If the system is not detected for the length of time specified in this field, all
devices except CPU will be shut off. Setting options: Disabled, 1 Min, 2 Min,
4 Min, 8 Min, 12 Min, 20 Min, 30 Min, 40 Min, 1 Hour.
MODEM Use IRQ
Name the interrupt request (IRQ) line assigned to the modem (if any) on
yoursystem. Activity of the selected IRQ always awakens the system. Settings
are 3, 4, 5, 7, 9, 10, 11 and NA.
Power Button Function
This feature sets the function of the power button. Settings are:
Power Off The power button functions as normal power off button.
Suspend When you press the power button, the computer enters
the suspend/sleep mode, but if the button is pressed for
more than four seconds, the computer is turned off.
Run VGABIOS if S3 Resume
This item allows the system to initialize the VGA BIOS from S3 (Suspend to
RAM) sleep state. Setting options: Auto, Yes, No.
After AC Power Lost
This item specifies whether your system will reboot after a power failure or
interrupt occurs. Available settings are:
