Hard Drive Disassembly
1. Disconnect the SATA cables ❶ from the mainboard.
2. Locate and remove the SATA cable screws
❷ with a cross-head screwdriver.
3. Gently slide to remove the hard drive assembly
❸.
4. Remove the hard drive screws
❹ on both sides of the tray to release the hard
drive.
