Introduction
Congratulations on your choice of a Premium MT HELMETS.
This helmet combines the latest technology, design and engi-
neering available on the market and represents an excellent
in-vestment for your comfort and protection. Although it has
been proven that a helmet considerably reduces the risk of in-
jury or damage, please remember that no helmet can protect
you from all possible impacts, even if it is made with the latest
materials and technology. The following training will help you to
enjoy and maintain your helmet properly.
Functionality
The main function of a helmet is to protect your head from an
impact in the event of an accident. To do this, the helmet sur-
rounds your head with a set of materials designed to absorb
and cushion the impact force caused by an accident. The hel-
met is also designed to provide you with comfort when riding
at a certain speed and in various weather conditions. However,
every helmet has its drawbacks: the helmet reduces your hear-
ing sensitivity, peripheral vision and mobility to a certain extent
while providing protection and comfort.
Adjustment
For maximum safety, it is vital that your MT HELMETS ts snug-
ly on your head, with the retention strap being straight and tight.
With your chin rmly attached, grasp the back of the helmet
with both hands and try to roll the helmet forward. If you can
roll the helmet toward your eyes, the size is not correct, so try a
smaller size of helmet.
Visor
MT HELMETS visors provide protection from the weather, small
ying objects and wind. Tinted visors are available to protect
your eyes from excessive sunlight and allow immediate adjust-
ment of light intensity.
Attention!
Never use a smoked or dark visor in low visibility condi-
tions. Not only is it unsafe, it is also illegal in several Coun-
tries.
Never use a visor that is scratched or that is wet with
condensation. The MT HELMETS are supplied with an an-
ti-scratch treatment.
Ventilation System
The ventilation systems are designed and conceived to maxi-
mize your comfort. The air intakes have been slightly widened
to improve the continuous air ow without losing aerodynamcs.
The four air intakes act in harmony to cool the interior of the
helmet. The helmet ventilation systems must be kept in perfect
condition, and free of dirt, insects or other elements that could
interfere with the proper air ow. Ventilation systems play an
important role, especially during physical effort or hot weather.
Optimal ventilation also helps to reduce the possibility of fog-
ging in the visor.
