- CS-LG600 and other LINKGLIDE products require checking online compatibility information (https://productinfo.shimano.com/#/com) for specific 11-speed (cid=C-432&acid=C-435) and 10-speed (cid=C-432&acid=C-436) specifications.
Usage Features:
- Installation: Sprockets must be placed on the freewheel body in descending order from largest to smallest. The wide convex section of the sprocket must align with the wide groove in the freewheel body. The marked side of the sprockets must face outward. The lock ring is then tightened using a Shimano original tool to the specified torque.
- Removal: The lock ring is removed using a Shimano original tool (TL-LR10/TL-LR15) in conjunction with a sprocket holder tool (TL-SR23/TL-SR24) to secure the sprocket assembly. The sprocket holder should be installed on the sprocket outward from the middle sprocket for stability.
Maintenance Features:
- Cleaning: Gears should be periodically washed with a neutral detergent and lubricated. The chain and QUICK-LINK should be cleaned regularly with an appropriate chain cleaner. Avoid alkali-based or acid-based solvents, as they can cause damage and serious injury.
- Lubrication: After cleaning, gears, chain, and QUICK-LINK should be lubricated to extend their lifespan. Shimano lubricants and maintenance products are highly recommended for maximum performance.
- Inspection: If the chain skips during use, the user should consult the place of purchase.
- Wear and Deterioration: Products are not guaranteed against natural wear and deterioration from normal use and aging.
- Component Integrity: Only use SHIMANO genuine parts. Incorrect assembly or adjustment can lead to component failure and loss of control.
- Eye Protection: Approved eye protection should be worn during maintenance tasks.
- Gear Combination: Always use the recommended combination of gears.
